Have you been wanting a way to jump-start your WINDEV v25 application development? Our Framework for WINDEV gives you the jump-start you've been wanting.
Imagine taking 1 of multiple sample windows, doing a 'File Save As' connect the table control to a query, define 5 variables and your browsing or listing window is complete. And by Complete we mean your CRUD is done for you without any coding.
Want Query by Example functionality? No problem. As before, select 1 of our sample windows and do a 'File Save As'. You have two styles of QBE to select from. One where you can add the selected fields you want to query on, write a few simple lines of code to implement the query parameters, or select the sample windows that implements a complete QBE without writing any code. The QBE is based up on the parameters of the query. This is a completely different QBE than in our training materials. We have literally replaced hundreds of lines of code with the WD query engine. By using query parameters we have a more robust QBE.
For a maintenance form, take the sample maintenance form, do a 'File Save As' and add all the controls you need. Again, your Validation is done without writing any code. Field level or window validation can be added to a window by simply configuring the Business Rules.
The Framework includes a Login window where the user can change their password. A secure code is sent to their email which in turn they can use to effect the change. As a side note, passwords are not saved, only the hash code. 2FA is also available using a similar mechanism. Want to use Windows Authentication for the user login, no problem.
AND this is really important. None of this is a 'black box'. It is implemented as a WD project, you can change or add to any of the code. Also included is manual with over 50 pages.
The Framework is a great place to jump-start your new application. Copy the entire project to a new folder, within WinDev rename the Framework project to the name of your new project. Import or create the required tables into the Analysis and you have the beginning of the new project. It's that simple to get started. The Framework is royalty free, you can use it in any of your applications.
